Welcome to When the Wood Turns...
Our wood products originate from trees grown here in the Pacific Northwest. We hand select the best parts of the wood before cutting the tree to maximize the beauty of each piece. This is done with a true love for the wood and an excitement that awaits the finished product.
Our beautiful wood bowls, salt and pepper shakers, toothpick holders, candle holders, pens, etc. are made from silver leaf and big leaf maple, black and english walnut, birch, alder and cherry trees.
What do our customers say?
"You know how you can’t eat just one potato chip? Well, you can’t own just one Bouslaugh bowl either! One bowl leads to another and another, I just can’t seem to stop myself...I have ”BOWL FEVER”! Each bowl is so beautiful that I don’t even want to use it. I just want to hold it, touch it, and show it off for the piece of art that it is. Thank you Rick for your beautiful creations." Carole O’Neil
Michelle says, "Our neighbors have been laughing at me for days, but I don't care. I've been walking around with your beautiful bowl in my hands with a death grip on it. They've asked me if they could see it and I say, "NO WAY!" I don't want to risk loosing it. But they have all been admiring it from afar."
"Just wanted to update you and let you know that Genine LOVES her bowl! Their family just moved into a new home and the bowl her husband purchased from you is sitting in the middle of their gorgeous island, in a place of honor!" Becky C.
